Inventory tags that survive a cabinet reshuffle
Cabinet reshuffles are ordinary: a new subsidiary device arrives, shelves are labeled again, bags move. Tags that only live on a shelf label become orphans.
Prefer bag-level identity
Attach a durable tag to the bag or sealed pouch itself, matching the inventory code in the master register. Shelf labels can be helpful secondary markers but should not be the only identity.
Cross-check during reconciliation
On Ledger Reconciliation Visits we read every bag tag aloud against the register before matching slips. The spoken check catches swapped bags faster than silent scanning.
Seoul context
Many of our clients keep cabinets inside shared secure rooms near Jung-gu and Mapo. Shared rooms raise the odds of well-meaning reorganization by facilities staff. Bag-level tags keep treasury identity independent of furniture.
